This fall, In The Black Media is getting more face time with the industries we work in every day. Members of our leadership team are attending creator, gaming, and influencer marketing events across the US before David & Jared join our Serbia-based team for a week in October.
The schedule covers several areas of the business, including content distribution, gaming, brand partnerships, talent management, and creator monetization.
PAX West \\ September 4–5
Jared started September in Seattle at PAX West, one of the gaming industry's major events for publishers, studios, creators, platforms, and gaming communities.
Gaming is an important part of both our creator network and our brand partnership work, so PAX was a chance to meet people across the industry in person, strengthen existing relationships, and hear directly about where gaming content and creator partnerships are heading.
VidSummit \\ September 29–October 1
Later this month, David will be in Dallas for VidSummit 2026.
VidSummit focuses on the business behind online video, bringing together creators, operators, platform experts, and companies working across the creator space.
A lot of the topics discussed there overlap directly with our work at ITBM, particularly distribution, monetization, platform growth, and helping creators build revenue beyond a single channel.
CreatorIQ Connect \\ October 13
On October 13, David will head to Los Angeles for CreatorIQ Connect, where more than 1,000 people from brands, agencies, platforms, and the creator marketing industry are expected to attend.
For ITBT, the event is especially relevant to our work connecting creators with brands. It gives us a chance to meet with people across the industry and keep up with how brands are approaching creator campaigns, measurement, and longer-term partnerships.
Serbia \\ October 18–24
After the US events, David and Jared will spend October 18–24 in Serbia working with our Balkan-based team, bringing everybody together for a company offsite
With different parts of ITBM operating across markets and time zones, having the team together in person gives us dedicated time to work through distribution, talent, partnerships, operations, and plans for the months ahead.
Staying Connected to the Industry
Events like these are useful because a lot of the conversations that shape our work happen outside scheduled calls and inboxes.
Meeting creators, brands, platforms, agencies, and other operators in person gives us a clearer view of what people are working on, where priorities are shifting, and where there may be opportunities to work together.
That perspective comes back into the work we do across In The Black Media and In The Black Talent.
From Seattle to Dallas, Los Angeles, and Serbia, fall 2026 will be a busy few months for the ITBM team, and a good opportunity to spend more time with the people and companies we work alongside.
